MLM Success – Remember the Dandelions

MLM Success

Twice a week I spend an hour and a half outside on my John Deere lawn tractor, getting fresh air and sunshine. I’m not like most Moms I know – I actually like cutting the lawn.

I have a huge area to cover on our farm, but I love the end result and making sure its done right.

When my husband used to cut the lawn, he’d sometimes let the cut grass shoot into my flower beds, and it made the worst mess.  Flowers are something I put a lot of time into, so I was kinda crushed when that used to happen.

Some people also let the grass clipping spray onto their driveway, and some fail to cut their lawn often enough which leaves huge clumps everywhere make the lawn look really sad.  So I take care of this task and love how my farm looks when I’m done.

However, this time of year my lawn is sprinkled with colour, because we don’t use chemicals – there are bright yellow dandelions everywhere.   No matter how diligent I am cutting the lawn regularly, for a week or two these persistent dandelions grow and grow, and get higher then the grass every time.  Even though they are a weed that most detest, they speak to me differently.

For MLM Success, Remember the Dandelions…

dandelionThese dandelions resemble what happens in life sometimes.   We are cut down emotionally when something doesn’t go our way, challenges come at us from all angles, and sometimes we let those challenges defeat us and give up… but anything worth pursuing usually takes more than one try.

We can either let those challenges take us out of the game, or choose to let those challenges sharpen us.  We need to practice persistence in our business and learn to rise above the hardships, the same way the dandelions rise above the grass every time when they are chopped down.

Challenges make us stronger, more effective and more confident once tackled.

Instead of thinking, ‘that didn’t work’, we need to think , ‘how can I do it differently to get a better result’.  Thoughts are things, and when you create different thoughts you create different and better results.

If you’re feeling cut down right now in your business, tired of being being broke, and ready for success, this works really well.

So the next time you feel like giving up, remember the dandelions and know that facing challenges without giving up makes you stronger!
